Some people are nervous about shooting, much less going through formal

training. At GAH Minnesota we try to make it a safe, fun, and

educational experience for everyone. So what can you expect? In the

class, we will cover firearm safety types of handguns, basics of

shooting, and range procedures. Out at the range, you will go through a

range orientation. If you have never fired a gun, we may start you off

with a 22 caliber handgun just to get you familiar with firearms. Then,

if you want, we will move you to a larger caliber, maybe a 32 or 380

ACP. We have most common calibers up to 44 Magnum. Once you are

comfortable with shooting, we will have you qualify with the gun of your

choice.

 Thanks so much for the class yesterday. We were previously concerned about the day as we both felt nervous venturing into something new. You both helped us feel welcome and comfortable in a situation that could possibly been intimidating had it been presented by others with different attitudes. Jean appreciated the instruction and thoughtfulness of your assistant at the range being she had never shot a handgun in her life. We will recommend your class to anyone should we have the opportunity.

Tim, it was nice to meet you & Dwight. I was TRULY impressed with the number of attendees to your CCW class. We were given practical information on aspects of weapon carry laws & guidelines. Common sense regarding weapons & responsibilities is what I gleaned from the class. It was well worth my time & expenses travelling from Iowa to attend the class.

 All involved with the training should be proud of the accomplishments of weapon carry training.
